The Starting Point
Granar Tarım produces certified barley, wheat, triticale, vetch, forage pea and alfalfa seed. What farmers and dealers ask depends on the variety: who holds the registration, which certification class it is, when to sow, and what it yields in dry and irrigated conditions.
Those answers get lost in a general product list. Every variety needed to be findable by its own name, the information had to be complete in four languages, and the company had to be able to update it without depending on a developer. The old site's addresses were also indexed by search engines, so none of them could be lost in the move.
Our Approach
We designed the site from scratch, starting from the world of the seed itself: botanical drawings, soil and grain tones, a calm reading layout. The phone number and menu stay within reach on every screen.
Each variety got its own profile page with the registration holder and year, certification class, sowing time, seeding rate and yield in dry and irrigated conditions, with the other varieties of the same crop listed alongside. The Turkish, English, German and Italian versions share the same structure.
Varieties, blog posts, FAQs, facilities and every page's search title are managed from a twenty-screen panel. The old site's addresses were permanently redirected to the new pages.
The Result
The site went live in August 2026. Each of the twelve varieties across six crops has its own address and can be read in four languages. From any variety page, a farmer can reach WhatsApp or the phone with a single tap; on mobile, both buttons stay fixed at the bottom of the screen.
The Granar team adds new varieties, posts and questions without outside help. The blog answers seasonal questions such as sowing time and seed rate per decare, and leads readers on to the relevant variety page.
