Zikirmatik

Zikirmatik is a digital tasbih app developed by BORDOAT. The screen shows a ring of thirty-three beads, an imame below it and a tassel hanging from the imame; the aim is to keep the feel of a tasbih held in the hand as closely as a phone allows.

The app is designed to be used without looking at it. Tapping anywhere on the screen counts; vibrations tell you where you are in the round, and in pocket mode the screen goes dark and counting continues with the volume keys. Every dhikr keeps its own counter, so one left unfinished can be resumed later from where it stopped.

Zikirmatik does not ask for an account and does not collect personal information; counts are stored only on the phone, and counting works without an internet connection. The app is free and supported by advertising. Some bead materials and tassel charms are unlocked by watching a short ad; counting, the dhikr, vibration, pocket mode and reminders never depend on an ad.
